Location
We are @ the intersection of the R301 and the R46 roads. The Farm is situated only 10km's South of the town “Ceres” (On the Cape Town side of Ceres) - 20 km's from Tulbagh. At the heart of the Cape Winelands - About 90 minutes drive from Cape Town Airport. (Not too far off the N1)
From CERES we are situated 10km's towards Cape Town on the southern side. Drive through the Mitchell's pass as leaving the town. At the bottom of the hill, turn to your left onto the R43 road towards the town of Worcester and cross the bridge over the river. About 700 meters after the bridge turn right onto the farm and follow the signs through the orchards to the “Backpackers”- situated on the river banks at the back end of the farm.(You will pass the Mill and Oaks Restaurant just before our entrance)

THERE ARE 3 WAYS OF REACHING US FROM CAPE TOWN:
Option 1: (Via the Du Toitskloof and the Hugenot toll tunnel)
From Cape Town travel with the NI north through the tunnel and continue on towards the town of Worcester. Just as you are approaching Worcester there is a Shell Ultra City on the left hand side of the road. Just before reaching it, you turn left following the signs to Ceres onto the R43. Follow this road until you reach a T- Junction where you will turn right and continue on straight for a further 14km's - There is a road sign which reads “Ceres 10kms” just before our entrance. Our sign is on the left hand side of the road. Look out for the wooden rose trellis and the small sign that says “THE FARM” Backpackers. If you reach the T-junction, you have gone too far by about 700 meters. Turn left onto the farm, under the trellis and follow the signs through the orchards to the “Backpackers”. - See Map Below
Option 2: (Via the town Wellington and through Bain's Kloof Pass)
From Cape Town travel with the NI north until you reach the sign for the R44 where you will turn to the left and continue towards the town of Wellington. Get into the main street of the town and follow it along till it becomes the R303. The drive from Wellington, through the spectacular “Bain's Kloof” pass is brilliant. Follow the R303 over the mountain and down the other side. You will eventually pass the Calabash Bush Pub. After coming over the mountain pass from Wellington towards Ceres - You will cross over two narrow bridges (Breede River) and then go under a height restriction board. Continue on straight for a further 14km's - There is a road sign which reads “Ceres 10kms” just before our entrance.
Option 3: (Via the town Wellington and past Tulbagh)
From Cape Town travel with the NI north until you reach the sign for the R44 where you will turn to the left and continue towards the town of Wellington. Just before you get into the town you take a left turn following the road signs for Tulbagh and the R44. Continue passed the turn offs for Hermon and Gouda and through the mountain pass. Don't turn into Tulbagh - just continue on towards Ceres. Pass the 2 turn offs to the left that take you into Wolseley and keep going passed the “Brenokem” factory on your right. (Do NOT continue with this road all the way to Ceres through the Mitchell's pass) A few kilometers after the factory turn right and cross the bridge over the river. About 700 meters after the bridge turn right onto the farm and follow the signs through the orchards to the “Backpackers”.(You will pass the Mill and Oaks restaurant just before our entrance) - See Map Below
